P - R - A - Y - E - R - this is what it is...

More coming on this, either in article or booklet form, but here is one way of looking at prayer - these are its components in relationship to Spirit:
P - Praise
R - Reverence
A - Acceptance
Y - Yearning
E - Excitement
R - Release
I believe these are the elements required to realize a more fulfilling prayer life and to perceive the answers to prayers more rapidly in manifested form. Thank you God for showing this to me!

Moment to Moment

Thank you precious spirit for allowing me to have awareness of You. Sometimes I know I deny that awareness when I am feeling weak and lazy. But you are never too lazy to be there for me. All I need to do is turn to You. Perhaps I don't see the miraculous resolution to my requests immediately, but I can be assured that you are working through me to help bring out the best result. I have to stay true to You so I can avoid falling back into old ways of responding. When I think my prayers are not being answered, that's when I am denying the power that you have and that you are expressing through my life. Help me to be aware that you are always in charge - no matter what it looks like on the outside - no matter how angry or hurt I feel about something someone has done - you are still in charge. My purpose is to follow the path laid out before me, do the things I know to do and when I forget, help me to be gentle with myself, not harsh - for you are never harsh with me so why should I be harsh with myself or with anyone else? Help me to express - your everloving compassion to all those around me - even when I don't feel that way. I do want to feel that way, above and beyond my humanness. For I truly do want to express the best of you and that means from within me, throughout all my life, and in every thought, word, and deed. May it be so now and always, and may I be confident in my trust in you for the right outworking of all my desires. Help me to have patience when I don't feel any progress is being made toward my dreams. There is a purpose, rhyme, and reason for it all, even when I don't see it, so help me remain true to my commitment to you so I can be a better example to others. May I be aware of your blessings every day.
